Johnson City is Lit, y'all (pun intended)! This small town located near Austin has the biggest and brightest Christmas Lights in Texas. They aren't dubbed the Twinkliest Town in Texas for nothing!
You will feel as if you are walking amongst the stars when you arrive at the local electric company. Millions of lights are strategically placed in the trees transforming these ordinary trees into a magical sight like no other.
Stop by the courthouse to purchase a locally made Christmas ornament or to enjoy a hot chocolate and homemade treat. Santa makes his appearance at the park for anyone still needing to visit.
Horse drawn carriage rides and tractor pulls are available and the perfect way to relax and soak in the Christmas spirit.
